HR Excellence
The European Commission awarded the IJC the HR Excellence seal in July 2019. The IJC continues to work to maintain its policies in line with the Charter and Code principles.  In June 2022, the IJC presented the interim report of the HRS4R action plan. An updated action plan has been approved.
 
  • The European Commission Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R)
The European Commission Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) has the main objective of ensuring that research centres of excellence implement and respect the requirements of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for hiring researchers (from here on referred to as the Charter and  Code) within their human resources policies.
 
  • The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) and HRS4R
This EC initiative aims to promote training, professional development, and mobility for all European scientists.  The IJC supports these values and principles, which will not only serve to strengthen its internal policies but will actively stimulate excellent research and firmly situate the organization as an institution with a stimulating working environment that favours development of its scientists.
 
  • HRS4R Action Plan
The first action plan took place from 2019 to 2021. After the interim evaluation, a new action plan has been approved.
The 2022-2025 Action Plan comprises 9 actions related to 4 pillars:

  3.  Working conditions and Social Security
  4.  Training
We aim to implement the current HRS4R Action Plan to boost our researchers’ careers, enhancing their future opportunities.
