Biography

Specialist in Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Master's in methodology in health sciences and PhD in Public Health from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Epidemiologist at the Epidemiology and Cancer Registry Unit of Girona of the Catalan Institute of Oncology. Since 1997, I am a teacher of doctoral and postgraduate courses, and associate professor at the University of Girona since 2006. I have led as principal investigator national research projects on cancer epidemiology and have participated as a collaborating researcher in different national and international projects. My scientific activity includes more than 200 publications in national and international journals.
