Dr. Alberich Jorda earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Barcelona and pursued her Ph.D. studies at the Erasmus MC, Rotterdam University, The Netherlands. In 2006, she relocated to Boston to undertake postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School and its affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). Throughout her career, Dr. Alberich Jorda has dedicated her research to understanding the process of hematopoiesis and the development of acute myeloid leukemia. Her work focuses on uncovering the molecular mechanisms underlying hematopoietic development, with an emphasis on stem cell biology, granulocyte production, and the impact of inflammation on these processes. Her research has made a significant contribution to the field, helping to address fundamental questions.
