POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER - CANCER EPIGENETICS
Research Description
The team of Manel Esteller at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute welcomes Expressions of Interest from ambitious, creative, scientifically curious and experienced researchers of any nationality wishing to jointly apply to the Beatriu de Pinós Postdoctoral Program.
Beatriu de Pinós (BP) is a postdoctoral program, funded by the Catalan Government, that support outstanding postdoctoral researchers to enhance their career perspectives and assist them in obtaining an independent research position.
The candidate will join the Cancer Epigenetics group, a multidisciplinary and international team, devoted to the establishment of the epigenome and epitranscriptome maps for normal and transformed cells, the study of the interactions between epigenetic modifications and non-coding RNAs, and the development of new epigenetic drugs for cancer therapy.
The applicant will have freedom of research choice within the scope of blood cancers and she/he will be offered highly attractive working conditions and a healthy, inspiring and creative working environment.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must:
- have obtained their first doctorate between 01/01/2015 and 31/12/2020.
- have a minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral experience outside of Spain.
- not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the BP call deadline (09/03/2023).
