If you are ready to take the next step in your research career, why don’t you come to Barcelona to boost your research skills in one of our excellent labs? Look into our research group’s host offers and find the one that best suits you, follow the application process to express your interest and, if the Scientific Supervisor agrees, you will jointly submit a Postdoctoral Fellowship proposal to the European Commission MCSA-PF call (tentative deadline 15/09/2021).

Enjoying an MSCA fellowship at the Josep Carreras Institute will allow you to gain research experience, develop independence and maturity, improve your professional skills and grow your international profile and network. Our labs take the advantage of an experienced community of researchers, working on cutting-edge projects using high-end technologies, side by side of a large hospital in the metropolitan Barcelona area, key for its translational research projects.

The MSCA-PF grant provides living allowance covering one to two years' salary, a mobility allowance and a family allowance (depending of the family status of the fellow), as well as research, training and networking costs, which translates in a very competitive salary conditions in relation to the average cost of living in Barcelona, which is a dynamic, vibrant and multi-cultural European capital city.

Applicants must have a strong publication record corresponding to their research experience (at least a first author publication in IF publication) and provide evidence of independence, a clear idea of what you will achieve during your fellowship and a reflexive understanding of your career development needs.
