Reorganization of research in personalized medicine in campus Can Ruti

The process started with the SUMA Project in 2013 has been successfully concluded with four groups from the former IMPPC  joining the IJC and the remaining groups and support staff joinin the IGTP.

The proximity of the Institute of Predictive and Personalized Medicine of Cancer (IMPPC), the Germans Trias i Pujol Health Sciences Research Institute (IGTP) and the Campus ICO-GTP of the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) on Can Ruti Campus has greatly facilitated the changes.

The reorganization will rationalize and improve the technical platforms shared on the campus and increase the critical mass of scientists in the IJC and the IGTP.  It considerably improves the potential for research into solid and liquid tumours on the campus by strenthening the IJC on one hand and the Program for Predictive and Personalized Medicine of Cancer for the IGTP on the other.
