Biography

Jeannine Diesch completed her studies in 2008 at the University of Ulm in Germany with Bachelor/Master in Molecular Biology and Endocrinology. She conducted her PhD in Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences at the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Melbourne, in the laboratory of Dr. Amardeep Dhillon. Her PhD studies focused on the role of AP-1 transcription factors in colorectal cancer invasion and metastasis. From 2013 to 2015 she was working as postdoctoral fellow in the Oncogenic Signalling and Growth Control Program at the Peter MacCallum Cancer centre (Melbourne) investigating the regulation of ribosome biogenesis in malignant transformation. Since August 2015 she is working in Marcus Buschbeck’s lab and aims to unravel chromatin regulation in MDS and AML.
